The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender. Proverbs 22:7 (NIV)
This week we’ve been discussing how we can take our next steps in Christ. Everyone should analyze how they can continue to grow in their faith. One of the ways that we take our next steps is by being wise with our financial resources. Psalm 24:1 tells us that the earth and everything in it belong to the Lord. It’s important that we are responsible with our money because ultimately it belongs to Him. Another reason that we want to be responsible with our money is because the verse in this post tells us that the borrower is servant to the lender. This is a reference to the fact that we should live within our means (not using banks, credit cards, etc., to make impulse purchases). How can you be wiser with your money so you can use more of your resources to transform the lives of others?
