Every tool has a purpose. A hammer is meant to embed and remove nails. A screwdriver is for installing and uninstalling screws. While some may try to use a screwdriver for nails, using the correct tool for the job makes the task a lot faster and easier.
We are each a member of the body of Christ. Each of us has a purpose to accomplish. God created each of us to fulfill a role He uniquely meant for us. While others may try to do what we were created for, they will not be as effective and it may not be as easy. You were created as a tool by the Creator of the universe.
Prayer: God, thank you for reminding me that I have a purpose. I want to do all that you have created me for. Show me how to be the best I can be for you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
