Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another… Hebrews 10:24-25 (NLT)
We all have things to do that can keep us very busy. We have jobs, families to care for, errands to run and places to volunteer. There are always chores we can do to fill up our calendar. But we are reminded that we also need to make time for meeting together. We were created by God for relationships. We need to spend time with each other to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. By spending time together, we can help each other grow. Don’t forget the importance of meeting together.
Prayer: God, thank you for reminding me of the importance of meeting together. Show me those I need to meet with to help us motivate each other in acts of love and good works. Help me to demonstrate your love in the world around me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
