The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. God indicates in this verse that it’s not good for man to be alone. He created man and woman to operate best in the context of community. God did not create us to live isolated lives, but to live connected to others making an impact in their lives. How are you currently connected in community? Are you part of a ministry team at your church? It’s important that you use the gifts that God gave you to serve others. Ministry teams at Heritage are a great way to serve others, meet new people, and impact others. Also, are you connected in a Growth Group at Heritage? Growth Groups are also a great way to meet new people while having the opportunity to “do life” with others at a similar life stage.
