Don’t Worry

Don’t Worry

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians 4:6 (NLT)

It is easy to worry about things. We can worry about big things, and we can worry about little things. When we worry, our focus is on the problem, and it seems to get bigger. When we pray, our focus leaves the problem and moves to the Problem Solver. Our problems look a lot smaller than God who can fix them.

We can pray about anything. We can pray about big things, and we can pray about small things. We can pray for ourselves, and we can pray for others. We can pray about our own needs, and we can pray about the needs of others.

Next Steps: Listen to those you encounter today for something they need prayer about. When you hear it, pray about it. It can be a quick, short prayer. Write down the person’s need and watch how God moves.
