My Father’s House

My Father’s House

In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:2 (NKJV)

Imagine travelling to a close friend’s home. You call them to alert them of your travel plans. As a result of your travel decision, they begin to prepare for your arrival. When you arrive, they are thrilled to see you and welcome you into their home.

The Bible tells us that there is ample space in God’s house. As a matter of fact, there is specific space just for you. The verse above tells us that Jesus has prepared a place just for you in the Father’s house. Notice, you are a welcomed guest and Jesus is anticipating your arrival. How do you gain entry into the Father’s house? By accepting Jesus into your life. If you haven’t accepted Jesus and made Him Lord over your life, we encourage you to say the simple prayer below.

Jesus, I need you in my life. Forgive me for all my sins and mess-ups. I’m tired of doing life alone and I need your help. Come into my heart and be Lord over my life. I believe in my heart that you are Lord, that you died for my sins, and that you rose from the dead. Thank you, Lord, for forgiving me and saving me. AMEN
