Because the world is not our permanent home, it’s important to view life with eternity in mind. It’s easy to become focused solely on our current challenges, our needs and our wants. The Bible is giving us a reminder that there is more at stake than our temporary struggles. We should live with the perspective that eternity lasts much longer than our current life. With this in mind, we should accept Jesus into our hearts to ensure we are spending eternity with Him.
