There are people who believe they have to spend all the money they have coming into their household. Some people think they need to spend more than what comes into their household and go into debt. But that is not God’s way. He encourages us to save some of what we earn. By saving, we will learn to manage our finances better. We will also learn to trust God more to help meet our needs. Be wise.
Prayer:
God, thank you for reminding me that I should not spend all that I receive. Show me the areas of my life where I can reduce my spending and where to save and give. Help me to be even wiser with what you have blessed me with. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
