Many times we will greet someone and ask how they are doing. But we ask out of habit instead of genuinely wanting to know how they are doing. We need to pay attention to the people around us. We need to demonstrate genuine affection and really show them that we love them. It is time to be present with those we care about.
Prayer: God, thank you that you love me. Show me how to love those around me. Alert me to when I am not being present with my loved ones. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
