Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. Galatians 6:1 (NLT)
We all make mistakes. The Bible reminds us that all have sinned and fall short (Romans 3:23). When we make mistakes, there are times when God uses others to tell us about the sin in our lives. He can also use us to reveal to others the sin in their lives. As we show others their faults, we need to do so gently and humbly with the goal of helping them get better. We should remember that everyone makes mistakes, including us.

God, thanks for reminding me that I make mistakes too. I choose to be open to the insight of others. Use me to help others get back onto the right path. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
