But I don’t have the strength to endure. I have nothing to live for. Job 6:11 (NLT)
Imagine going out to a car and getting in to go for a drive. You sit in the driver’s seat and start the engine. However, for this trip, you don’t have a destination in mind. Without knowing where you are going, there is not a lot of reason to take the ride. The lack of a goal leaves you missing a reason to get started and keep going.
Living a life without a goal is the same idea. We can go through life without an idea of knowing where we are headed. It just makes the thought of pushing through harder to do. God built us with a purpose in mind. We were placed on earth at this specific time to make a difference. It is time to find your reason to keep going.
Prayer: God, thank you for reminding me that I need a reason to keep going. As I am about to start the Transformed 2.0 series, help me to create goals to work on. I want to fulfill the purpose you have created me for. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
