Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things…. Psalm 103:2-5 (NLT)
This week we focused on a heart of gratitude for what God has given us.
We learned to be thankful for every good thing. We learned that every good thing comes from God. When we don’t praise God for the blessings, we can become prideful as if we accomplished all the good things in life by ourselves.
We touched base on how we can trust God with everything including our finances. Money is a direct reflector of what we love and trust. Nothing should come before God. God says we can test Him with our finances.
God has blessed us with extraordinary things.
The very best blessing and the greatest gift God gave was Jesus.
We struggle with daily shortcomings to deep guilt from past mistakes. Let’s face it – we all have faults and failures. But God’s greatest gift is forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
Jesus forgives our sin, heals our diseases, and loves us more than we can even imagine.
Through Jesus we can be forgiven of our past, confident of our future, and receive guidance in the present.
PRAY: Dear God, Thank you for all the blessings. I open my life and heart to Jesus, Your greatest gift of all. Thank you for forgiveness and salvation that only comes by faith in Jesus. Help me to receive forgiveness, to have hope, and to live a purposeful and grateful life that demonstrates Your love to others. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
