For in Christ Jesus. . . . the only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. Galatians 5:6 (NIV)
Sometimes life is painful or it can feel empty. Sometimes we feel like we are simply going through the motions of life and not really living. Yet Jesus tells us the way to a full life is through Him. And in Jesus the only thing that counts is faith being expressed through love, something Jesus modeled perfectly.
The minutia of life pulls us in a hundred different directions. It’s easy to lose focus. Yet a full life comes through the expression of love. And who doesn’t want a full life?
Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to follow Your example of love in the world. Guide me that I may find my way to the full life You planned for me. When the world pulls at me, please help center me back on You. I love You, Lord. Thank You for your constant, faithful love. Amen.
