Always Speak the Truth

Always Speak the Truth

In the end, people appreciate honest criticism far more than flattery. Proverbs 28:23 (NLT)

It’s important that we always speak the truth to our family and friends.  Sometimes we avoid difficult conversations as a way to keep the peace.  But failing to tell the truth to others when they need it can actually cause more damage.  Is there a tough conversation that you need to have with someone?  Have you been delaying that conversation?  Set a specific date on your calendar in the near future to have that conversation with that person.  As the book of Proverbs mentions, people will appreciate honest criticism far more than flattery.
