This verse makes a very powerful statement. It says, “My power works best in weakness.” Think about that for a moment. God’s power works best when you are weak, lost, confused, worried, and can’t see a clear path or solution. God specializes in turning around impossible life situations. Do you have habits that you just can’t break? God specializes in solving that! Do you feel like your life has been in turmoil, like being on an endless merry-go-round? God specializes in calming the storms of life! No matter what you are going through, God is able to reach in and transform your life, putting you on a new course in life.
If you want that power operating in your life, you need to recognize one simple point: I NEED CHRIST. Notice, it doesn’t say that you should want Christ, but that you NEED Christ. You must realize that He is your source, answer, and solution. If you haven’t accepted Christ into your life, click here. Next, you need to press into Christ. Read His Word (the Bible) daily. Spend time in prayer talking to God daily. The goal is to develop a relationship with God and to obey Him (do what He tells you to do).
