Have you ever watched a hamster on a wheel? How about a dog chasing its tail? Have you ever felt like that hamster or the dog? Running so hard, so fast, never really knowing what all the running is for?
Life is like that sometimes. We are empty of energy spent chasing big things, big ideas, and big plans, but never quite knowing exactly what they are. We know we want more than what we have now. We want to be further ahead than where we are at. But what is it exactly? Where do we want to end up for certain? We must clarify the ultimate goal.
God’s desire, plan, and purpose for our lives are revealed in the Bible. We will find the most satisfaction when we understand God’s plan. God wants some extraordinary things for us. The most important is God wants us in His family. We are made for eternity with our heavenly Father.
Pray: Dear God, come into my life. I invite you into my day. Forgive me for any sins I have done. Help me Lord to align my purpose with yours. Help me to follow and trust you as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
