Every one of us makes mistakes. Sometimes we hurt others unintentionally. At times we are hurt by others. Things will happen that cause conflict between us. We can choose to hold a grudge, but the better way is to exercise forgiveness. Because we were forgiven for our treason toward God, we can give freedom to others.
We will have conflict with other people. It is up to us if we want it to be something that brings us closer together or drives us further apart. Choose the better path – forgiveness.
Prayer: God, thank you for reminding me that conflict will happen in life. Help me to show forgiveness to others just as you have shown forgiveness to me. In Jesus name. Amen.
