“But the master replied, ‘You wicked and lazy servant! If you knew I harvested crops I didn’t plant and gathered crops I didn’t cultivate, why didn’t you deposit my money in the bank? At least I could have gotten some interest on it.’” Matthew 25:26-27 (NLT)
God is trusting you with resources and He expects you to use them. He didn’t give them to you to hide. He wants you to step out in faith and do something with what He gave you. God knows in advance that you will make mistakes, but He wants you to do something anyway. God wants you to take a chance. He wants you to try, then let Him do the rest. Don’t bury it!
Prayer:
God, I choose to step out in faith today. Show me where I need to take a chance and help me to stop burying the talents, skills, and resources you have given me. Thank you for making up the difference in where I may fall short. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
