Have you ever thought about buying a new car and then you start to see them everywhere? Before you thought about it, you never saw them on the road. But once you started thinking about it, you started to see them all around you. It’s not that all of a sudden people went out and bought them, it’s just that you started to notice them.
God’s favor is the same way. Finding favor means gaining approval, acceptance, or special benefits or blessings. As we look for the good things in life, we will begin to see how God shows us His approval, acceptance and blessings in our lives. The blessings we take for granted start to become visible in our lives. We start to notice the different ways that God is taking care of us that we missed the day before. God’s approval was there, we just didn’t see it. Go out and search for good and you will find favor.
Prayer: God, thank you for your favor in my life. Help me to search for good and see your blessings in my life. Help me to know and sense your approval on my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
