Focus on Facts

Focus on Facts

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8 (NLT)

One of the best ways to overcome critical thinking is to focus on what is true (the Bible). It tells us to focus our thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. It then tells us to think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. What are you focused on? Are you focused on the negative thoughts being fed to you by the enemy (satan) or are you focused on God’s Truth? When you are confronted with thoughts of worry and fear, focus on the facts!
