Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. Ephesians 1:4-5 (NLT)
You are not part of this world by accident. God chose to put you in the world at this time and place. As He was creating the world, He created it knowing that you would have a place in it. He knew in advance that He planned to adopt you into His family. Jesus came to earth so we could become part of God’s family. We can share with others the fact that God chose them in advance.
Prayer:
God, thank you that you chose to make me part of your family. Show me someone today that I can share your adoption plan with. Help them hear how much you love them and want them to be part of your family. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
