The bible shares an important point that is often overlooked. Think about this simple fact. God doesn’t show love…He IS love. He is the very essence of love itself 24/7. This fact helps us to understand the depth of God’s love for mankind. He doesn’t use love, have love, show love, (as we envision love) etc., He IS love. How does that change your perspective about God’s love? What does God specifically want you to do based on the fact that He loves us?
