He Is Risen from the Dead

He Is Risen from the Dead

Early on Sunday morning, as the new day was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went out to visit the tomb. Suddenly there was a great earthquake! For an angel of the Lord came down from heaven, rolled aside the stone, and sat on it. His face shone like lightning, and his clothing was as white as snow. The guards shook with fear when they saw him, and they fell into a dead faint. Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Matthew 28:1-6 (NLT)

It’s important to realize that a new day is here. Maybe the last few weeks or months have been difficult. God can turn the page and give you a fresh start through Christ Jesus. Why should we put our trust in Jesus? Think about it this way. Jesus not only was raised from the dead, but He did so just as He said He would. If Jesus could do that, surely, He can transform your life. If you need transformation in your life and are ready for a fresh start, we encourage you to make Jesus the Lord of your life. How? The Bible tells us how in Romans 10:9: If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Say the prayer below then let someone know you have just accepted Jesus into your life.

Prayer
Jesus, I need you in my life. Forgive me for all my sins and mess-ups. I’m tired of doing life alone and I need your help. Come into my heart and be Lord over my life. I believe in my heart that you are Lord, that you died for my sins, and that you rose from the dead. Thank you, Lord, for forgiving me and saving me. AMEN
