It is easy to get caught up in doing things our own way. We sometimes take small steps away from God and His plans for us. We can make mistakes that cause us to lose the passion in our love for God. Instead of running to God when we make a mistake, we may run from Him. But God wants you to come back to Him. He calls to your heart, “I’ll take you back!”
Prayer: God, thank you that, out of love, you want to take me back. Thank you for reminding me that when I make mistakes, I can run to you instead of running away from you. Show me the areas where I need to grow to become more like you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
