Every day we see people in need. Those needs could be physical, emotional or spiritual. It’s easy to expect church leaders to take care of those in need. After all, they are called by God to do His work. But that is not God’s plan. While He does have work for the church leaders, He has work for you too! Church leaders are there to help teach us so we can go out and do God’s work. We are the ones who are supposed to meet the needs of others. We are the ones who can smile at the cashier having a bad day. We are the ones who can help the mother in need of a listening ear or word of encouragement. We are the ones who can be there for a co-worker who needs to know and feel the love of God. It’s up to you to make a difference.
Prayer:
God, thank you for the reminder that I am here for a purpose. I’m sorry for areas I have missed in the past. Help me to see the lives I am supposed to impact today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
