It is easy to try to fit into the world around us. We could stay silent when there is someone nearby who needs defending. We could choose not to help the person in need that we meet. We could think only of ourselves and not care about others around us. But God calls us to be more than that. He calls us to be different. He encourages us not to conform to the world around us. He wants us to think differently than the world around us. It’s time to be a living sacrifice.
Prayer: God, thank you for the reminder that I need to be different. I choose to be a living sacrifice. Show me the areas where I need to renew my mind. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
