Wisdom is not a single goal, but one that is ever evolving and growing as we live. We will always find ourselves having new experiences that make us grow, some may be pleasant and some may be difficult. However, by having wisdom we will be better able to handle the circumstances that we experience in life. We are never promised an easy life or one without troubles, but we are given the tools and knowledge to face whatever arrives before us. Different seasons of our lives will also bring a need to seek different fields of wisdom. Wisdom, and everything it entails, ought to be a goal we carry with us through our lives and it is one goal that we can begin today, even with the smallest of steps.
Pray: Lord, guide me in my search for wisdom. Let me understand you more and understand your plans for me as well. Help me to see where I am to go in my life and the path you have laid out for me. Allow me to reflect well upon the wisdom you have given us and apply it meaningfully to my circumstances. Give me the want and wonder to seek your wisdom throughout my life and to find my starting place today. Let your knowledge of what is best lead me, change me, and better me. Amen
