Life is made up of different seasons. We have spring, summer, fall and winter as the seasons for weather. We start life as babies, then become children and mature into adulthood. As part of each of these seasons, there is a time of transition. We still have pieces of the old and comfortable ways, but we need to move into the next season which may take a bit of adjusting.
Fortunately, we do not have to go through the transitions alone. God promised to never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). No matter the struggle we are facing, God is there to see us through. There is a season for everything, but that means what you are going through will not last forever..
Prayer:
God, thank you for the reminder that life is made up of seasons and that you are there with me through them all. Help me to remember that no matter what I am going through, good or bad, it is only for a season. Show me how to be at peace in the season that I am in. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
