It shouldn’t come as a surprise when bad things happen in our life. The Bible tells us that in this world we will experience trouble, but Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33). In the verse above we are instructed to be on guard and to stand firm in the faith. You will undoubtedly experience things that will test your faith, but you can stand firm knowing that Jesus has already overcome everything in this world.
