I am the Lord All-Powerful, and I challenge you to put me to the test. Bring the entire ten percent into the storehouse, so there will be food in my house. Then I will open the windows of heaven and flood you with blessing after blessing. Malachi 3:10 (CEV)
Have you ever known a person that wanted to be challenged because they knew they would win? They encouraged people to prove them wrong because they were secure in the fact they were right and can’t be proven wrong. Isn’t that what you hear God saying in this verse? You can almost hear God saying, “Come on, prove me wrong!” He encourages us to trust Him with our ten percent (the tithe) so He can bring blessings that we can’t contain. When He pours out the blessings, He wants us to share them with others. If you haven’t already, it’s time to put God to the test.
Prayer:
God, I will put you to the test. I will bring my ten percent (tithe) to your storehouse (local church). Pour out your blessings on me so I can bless others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
