It’s comforting to know that we can have a fresh start through Christ Jesus. The Bible tells us that the old has gone and the new is here. What are you holding on to from your past (the old) that Christ has already freed you from? When you accept Christ into your life, you are a new creation. You may not feel like a new creation or the enemy (satan) may try to convince you that you’re the same. It’s at this point (when you have thoughts trying to remind you of your past) that you need to remember that the old has gone. You have accepted Christ which means you have assistance and you are a new creation. Your past no longer dictates your future.
