There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NIV)
Think about the weather. There are different seasons and each season has a purpose. There can be a time for growth, new life and blossoming. At other times there is a season of preparation for what is to come. As an example, the roots of trees can grow deep to produce strength for the future. While you are waiting for what is going to happen next, you can spend that time preparing for what’s next. Remember that there is a time for everything.
Prayer: God, thank you for a time to prepare. Show me how I need to get ready for the next phase of life. Help me to prepare for the blessing so I can be a blessing to others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
