Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him… Psalm 37:3-7 (NIV)
It can be difficult to trust in the Lord sometimes. While looking at our individual circumstances we may see things that cause us to worry, fear, or even doubt. But we are encouraged to trust in the Lord when things appear to be going well in our life and to trust in the Lord when we are uncertain about our next step. God’s ability to operate in your life is not determined by the complexity of your problems. God has more power than your problems. You simply need to trust in the Lord and have faith that He will do what the Bible promises He will do.
