Everyone falls down sometimes. We mistreat people, accidentally or intentionally. We think more highly of ourselves than we should. We may tell lies, steal or cheat. We may look at things that are inappropriate. We may even slide back into old habits. As long as God is on our side, we can get back up again. We can ask for God’s forgiveness every time that we fall down. We can ask God to help us become more like Him. We can get up again.
Prayer:
God, thank you that you are there when I need you. You are there even when I don’t know that I need you. Thank you for the reminder that I can get back up when I fall down. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
