We live in a broken world. The things we see in the world around us are not the way God intended for things to work. Everything is tainted by sin. We can easily fall into thinking the way of this broken world. But God calls us to work on changing the way we think. We can start to focus our minds on God’s way instead of the ways of this world. The more we think in a new way, the more we will know what God is calling us to do. It’s time to think a new way.
Prayer:
God, thank you for helping me to know what is good, pleasing and perfect. Show me the areas where I need to think in a new way. Help me to build the habit of taking my thoughts captive so I am not shaped by this world. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
