Abundantly Above

Abundantly Above

Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, Ephesians 3:20 (AMP)

Let’s look at God’s pattern of what He did for His people in the Bible.  Moses was a foreigner in a strange land who ended up being used by God to deliver a nation from slavery.  David was a shepherd who became a king who will be remembered forever.  Joseph was sold into slavery and ended up becoming second in command in Egypt and guiding the nation through a famine.  Esther was an orphan who ended up being a vessel to save her people from destruction.

All of these people came from small beginnings but were used by God in a big way.  When they started out, they didn’t realize what God had planned for them.  But they followed God and allowed Him to do big things through them.  Let God work abundantly through you!

Prayer:

God, as I begin this new year, I want to be used abundantly by you.  Show me where I need to go and what I need to do.  I choose to say “Yes” to you this year. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
