Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2 (NLT)
It is easy for us to copy what everyone else is doing. We try to fit in and look like the world around us. We keep our opinions to ourselves. We don’t want to stick out.
God tells us to become a new person by changing how we think. He doesn’t want us to copy the behaviors and customs of this world. He has a good, pleasing and perfect will for us. The only way to learn it is by allowing God to transform the way we think. We are all meant to be an original.
Prayer:
God, thank you for having a good, pleasing and perfect will for me. I ask for you to transform the way I think so I can learn and know your will for me. Help me to be all that you want for me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
