Devaluation

Devaluation

But Moses protested to God, “Who am I to appear before Pharaoh? Who am I to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt?” Exodus 3:11 (NLT)

We’ve all had that internal battle where we devalue our level of importance or impact. We say phrases such as: I’m not smart enough, I don’t have what it takes, I don’t have the right skills, there are other people more qualified, etc. During those times it’s important to remember that God intentionally chose you for a reason. He sees something in you that you may not even see in yourself. It has been said, “If God brought you to it, He will see you through it.” God will be with you and will equip you to handle the task set before you.

Think about what you just read. How have you devalued the level of your significance? How will you now begin to view your level of impact in the world based on what you read?
