Disqualification

Disqualification

But Moses again pleaded, “Lord, please! Send anyone else.” Exodus 4:13 (NLT)

We can sometimes feel that mistakes from our past disqualify us from God operating in and through us. We think that because of past sins (behaviors, choices, actions, failures, etc.) that God will choose to utilize others to fulfill His will on earth. It’s important to remember that God doesn’t call perfect people. He calls imperfect people to do incredible things. If you’ve made mistakes in your past, there’s hope! If we ask for forgiveness, God will forgive us (see the verse below). You are not disqualified…you are loved by God. How does this change your perspective of how God views you?

But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. 1 John 1:9 (NLT)
