And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17 (NIV)
There are often tasks that we must accomplish that we aren’t enthusiastic about. It could be showing love to an enemy, working with certain co-workers, showing love to a family member that you’ve recently had a disagreement with, etc. The Bible tells us “whatever you do,” do it with the right attitude. Do it as if you are working for the Lord. Do it as if Jesus directed you to do it. When you change your perspective about why you are doing the task, it will affect your attitude while doing the task. During what task do you need to have a better attitude (work, helping others, etc.)?
