Don’t Give Up

Don’t Give Up

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9 (NIV)

We often expect immediate results in life.  As an example, we will go to the gym once, then quickly look in the mirror when we arrive home to see if there is a noticeable difference.  You will only get results in life when you push forward and continue a given activity despite how you feel or how things look.

Think about this from a biblical perspective.  The Bible mentions the importance of prayer, but you can’t pray once, then get angry or discouraged if things in your life look the same.  You must continue with consistent action (prayer in this example) despite how your situation appears or even if you feel like quitting.  Don’t give up just inches away from your goal.  Don’t become weary (exhausted or discouraged) while you are doing good.  Keep pushing forward until you reach the goal.
