But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body. 1 Corinthians 12: 18-20 (NIV)
Even as Christians, there may be times when we struggle to find the best in people. In the grind of everyday life, we can find ourselves pointing out the negative in others, even our fellow Christians. Although it may be difficult at times, there is always something good we can find in those around us. Sometimes this means searching beyond the surface, digging deeper and really searching for the gold in those around us.
No matter if you don’t always see it, there is value in those people that God has specifically placed around you to be part of your life. Some people may be complete opposite of you or have a totally different call on their life. Not only is that okay, it’s good! God made us this way so we could learn from one another, help each other grow and challenge one another. Is there someone like this in your life? Maybe it’s time to make a connection with them and see what God does!
