All of us are dirty with sin. All the right things we have done are like filthy pieces of cloth. Isaiah 64:6 (NCV)
We can never be “right” on our own. No matter how we treat others, it will never be enough to clean the sin out of our lives. Fortunately, God knew we could never clean ourselves, so He sent His son Jesus to pay the price so we could be clean by accepting Him as Savior of our lives.
Prayer:
God, thank you for sending Jesus to pay for my sins. Thank you for reminding me that I can never be clean on my own. Thank you for sending Jesus to die for my sins, which paves the way for me to be in right standing with you through Him. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
