God brings people together for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it’s to show us what needs to be worked out of our lives. Each of us has areas in our lives that need the edges smoothed off and others that need to be sharpened. He also brings us together because we can accomplish more together when we come into agreement with each other (Matthew 18:19). Ask God to surround you with those who are supposed to sharpen you and those to be sharpened by you.
Prayer:
God, thank you for the relationships I have in my life. I open my life to the relationships you want in my life. Show me who you are sending to sharpen me and those who I am meant to sharpen. Help our relationships make us more like you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
