What more can you or I add to God? He has it all! He made it all! He owns it all! So what can you or I give to God? It’s true, God doesn’t need you—but He desperately wants you!
God wants you to love Him. It is God’s main goal for your life—to Love Him! God calls us to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. He loves you so much that He adopted you, chose you, picked you out and called you His own. He chose you before the creation of the earth. It brings God great pleasure to have you in His family.
God lacks nothing. God doesn’t need you. But God WANTS you.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, You own it all—the heavens, the earth, and everything in them. All you want is my heart, life, and love. Teach me to love you with all that I am, all that I have, and to bring you joy. In Jesus’ name. Amen
