This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 1 John 5:14 (NIV)
Sometimes we don’t realize how much God loves us. Jesus came while we were still sinners and died for us so we could have a relationship with God (Romans 5:8). God is listening for us to call for Him. We can talk to God anytime about anything. Because God took the first step in restoring our relationship with Him, we can be confident that He hears us when we pray. When we ask God for the things He wants to do in and for us, we can be secure in knowing that He hears us.
