He Loves You

He Loves You

Think how much the Father loves us. He loves us so much that he lets us be called his children, as we truly are… 1 John 3:1 (CEV)

It can be difficult to comprehend the level to which God loves us. The following verse gives us a glimpse into how God feels about us:

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 (NLT)

God isn’t an angry father waiting for occasions to persecute us because of our past mistakes. He is a loving father who views us as His children. He wants the best for us and wants us to experience the life transformation received through Christ Jesus. Reflect on God’s love today.

Prayer:
God, thank you for loving me just as I am, but I also thank you that you won’t leave me where I am. Thank you for the life transformation available to me through Jesus. I choose to accept Jesus into my heart today. I openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. Thank you for loving me as your child and for saving me. In Jesus’ name. Amen
