We all fall short of God’s plan for us at times. When we do, our first instinct may be to run and hide like Adam and Eve did in the garden of Eden. We want to hide our faults so we don’t feel exposed and vulnerable. We don’t want others to know we made a mistake. But no matter where we try to hide, God is always there ready to answer our cry for help. There is nothing we can do and no place we can go that God cannot find us. We can choose not to play hide and seek with God, but instead run to Him when we need His help and forgiveness.
Prayer:
God, thank you that you will always be there for me. Help me to remember to run to you in times of trouble instead of running away. I know I can trust you with everything in my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
