Conflict is a fact of life. Many of us were in conflict in the past, are in conflict now or will be in conflict in the future. As we navigate conflict with others, we need to remember to be truthful but always to speak the truth in love. Our conversation should build up others and not tear them down. It should focus on the conduct and not the character. It should be done in a way that others still feel valued and respected. Always remember to speak the truth in love.
Prayer: God, thank you for reminding me to grow more like you every day. Bring to my attention throughout the day when I am not speaking the truth in love. Help me to be more like you and show your love to others in both the good and bad times. In Jesus name. Amen
