Connect with other believers on your Sabbath day. Take time and encourage each other. Spending time with like-minded people rejuvenates us and spurs us on.
Let us not give up the habit of meeting together… Instead let us encourage one another … Hebrews 10:25 (GNT)
I rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let us go to the House of the Lord.” Psalm 122:1 (NIV)
When Christians come together, we sharpen each other. We can share ideas and discuss topics, engage in conversations and challenge each other in our Christian walk. We come away feeling supported, empowered and encouraged. Christians are better together when we spend part of our Sabbath with one another.
Pray: Dear God – Life can be so busy and full of demands on my schedule. Help me to put Christian friendships on the radar of important things. Thank you for the gift of Christian friends who help me to grow and challenge me to live my best life for You. Help me to see time spent with friends as important and valuable and something to be treasured. Thank you God for our Christian friendships. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
